Getting help

If things are tight this week, you're welcome here.

To get an emergency food parcel you need a referral voucher. These can be obtained from:

  • The local GP surgery
  • Kington Primary Schools
  • Local Churches
  • Homestart
  • Health Visitors
  • Social Services
  • Citizens Advice
  • Housing Associations

Just come along to the Parish Hall on Church Street with your voucher during opening hours. A volunteer will meet you, and you can take away a bag of food to see you through.

If you have no agency that can refer you, please phone or text the number below.

Other ways to help

Volunteer on a Friday

We're always glad of extra hands to sort donations, pack bags and welcome visitors. It's a couple of hours a week, and everyone's shown the ropes on their first session.

Give money

Cash donations let us buy exactly what's short at the time — especially eggs, bread and long-life milk, which runs out fastest. Get in touch and we'll let you know the best way to give.
